专利说明:
Bicycle Antenna Assembly The present invention relates to a bicycle antenna assembly for communication between a bicycle control unit of a bicycle having a bicycle frame comprising at least one transceiver arranged in the bicycle frame, such as a Bluetooth module and/or a mobile communication module adapted for communication with a mobile network (one or more of any of 2G-5G), and at least one external communication device, such as a cell tower of the mobile network and/or a communication device, such as a smartphone, comprising a Bluetooth module. Bicycles communicating with a radio link are known. Use is made herein, for example, of a radio connection via a Bluetooth transceiver with a smartphone or the like, or via a GSM transceiver with a mobile network. Is the present inventor faced with the problem of inconsistency between the desire to arrange the bicycle control unit and the transmitter receiver in a frame tube of the bicycle frame on the one hand, and the desire to arrange the antenna outside the frame for signaling on the other hand towards the mobile network or the smartphone. In order to solve such a problem of contradiction, the present invention provides a bicycle antenna assembly for communication between a bicycle control unit of a bicycle with a bicycle frame comprising at least one transceiver arranged in the bicycle frame, such as a Bluetooth module and/ or a mobile communication module adapted for communication with a mobile network (one or more of any of 2G-5G), and at least one external communication device, such as a cell tower of the mobile network and/or a communication device, such as a smartphone, comprising a Bluetooth module, the bicycle antenna assembly comprising: antenna connection means operably connected to or connectable to the at least one transceiver, — an antenna module, as adapted for one or more of Bluetooth communications and communications with the mobile network, — an antenna coupler between the antenna link means and the antenna module, wherein — the antenna module is relative to the transceiver and a tube element of the bicycle frame is placed or placeable externally or outwardly. By means of such an arrangement, the present invention provides the advantage that advantageously a desirable antenna signal is realizable from the transceiver, such as via Bluetooth or a mobile network signal, to the target mobile communication device and/or the target mobile network. According to a first preferred embodiment of the bicycle antenna assembly, the antenna module is arranged outside a cassette or inner tube containing the bicycle control unit. A stand-alone implementation of arranging the bicycle control unit in a cassette or inner tube is hereby advantageously combined with the bicycle antenna assembly according to the present invention. Due to the arrangement of the antenna module outside the cassette or inner tube, a powerful communication signal is realizable between the transceiver and the target mobile communication device and/or the target mobile network. In itself, it is provided here that such an arrangement is possible within an in the outer surfaces of the cassette or inner tube, which arrangement in itself permits movability of the cassette or inner tube with respect to a respective tube member. More preferably, the antenna module is arranged or arranged in a passageway of the respective tubular member and thereby arranged within the contour of the respective tubular member or material forming the tubular member. This further improves the signal quality. It is hereby provided that slidability and/or displaceability of the cassette or inner tube in the tube element can be realized when the antenna module is detached relative to the cassette or inner tube. It is further preferred that the antenna module can be placed against the outside of the bicycle control unit or a cassette or inner tube thereof, preferably using a spacer which can be arranged therebetween. An advantage of this is an easy connection of the antenna module to the sender receiver. Furthermore, this creates the possibility that the antenna module can be arranged in said passage after placing the cassette or inner tube in the tube element in such a way that fixing means for fixing the antenna module are located at the location of the opening. It is further advantageous here if the antenna module is attachable to the bicycle control unit, a cassette or inner tube thereof after it has been arranged in the respective tube element of the bicycle frame. Further preferably, the antenna module or a part thereof after attachment to the bicycle control unit, a cassette or inner tube thereof prevents sliding out of the respective tube member. According to a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, the antenna coupling comprises an inductive coupling between the antenna connection means and the antenna module. This creates a robust coupling between the sender receiver and the antenna module. The antenna module is easy to remove using such an inductive coupling because no physical connection need to be broken or realized after reassembly. More preferably, inductive contacts or poles of the antenna connection means, omitting the antenna module per se, provide an antenna function with a weaker signal than with the antenna module. This leaves the sender-receiver functionality usable, albeit at a lower quality. It is advantageous that the functionality is not completely lost when the antenna module is removed or damaged. A further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna module or a first antenna element thereof is suitable for Bluetooth signalling. Further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna module or a second antenna element thereof is suitable for mobile network signalling, such as signaling on the basis of which any standard according to 2G-5G. Further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the bicycle control unit is arranged to control or operatively communicate with at least one bicycle function module, such as a drive motor driver, gear unit such as a hub gear unit, wheel lock assembly, control button such as a bell button and/or power button. Further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna module is arranged on the handlebars, preferably on the outside of the left or right handlebars, further preferably inside or in the material of a hand-held grip, wherein the antenna connection means extends from the transceiver to the antenna module. Further preferred bicycle antenna assembly the antenna connection means is configured as a wire connection which preferably extends through the head tube and a respective handlebar, and/or wherein the antenna coupling is embodied as a physical or inductive coupling. A further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna module is arranged on any portion of the bicycle frame or a mudguard of the bicycle. Further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna module is arranged in the saddle, wherein the antenna connection means is formed as a wire connection which preferably extends through the saddle tube and/or seat post. A further preferred bicycle antenna assembly wherein the antenna connecting means connects at least one element, such as a connector pins, of a cassette connector to a cassette containing the bicycle control unit and the at least one transceiver to other subsystems of the bicycle. fig. 1 is a perspective view of a first preferred embodiment of the present invention with internal elements schematically indicated therein. fig. 2 is an exploded view of the preferred embodiment of FIG. 1. fig. 3 is a schematic perspective view of an arrangement of elements according to a further preferred embodiment at a bicycle handlebar. A first preferred embodiment (Fig. 1) according to the present invention relates to a bicycle antenna assembly 1. The bicycle antenna assembly is an assembly that provides an antenna connection from a transceiver of a bicycle control unit or main control unit of a bicycle. The bicycle provides two means of communication, one via Bluetooth with a Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop, and the other via a mobile network such as a mobile data network according to one of the 2G-5G standards of mobile data networks. The bicycle uses the mobile data networks for, for example, positioning and for communicating with a server for the purpose of recovering a stolen bicycle. An inner tube or cassette 6 is arranged in the top tube 4 of the bicycle. The bottom of the top tube 4 is shown with the opening 16 therein. This cassette 6 houses the main control unit, the sender receiver, a motor control unit and is connected to a number of subsystems of the bicycle for this purpose. It is important for the purpose of the present invention that an antenna module 2 for providing the antenna connection is directed outwardly from the top tube. The opening 16 provides an outward direction of the antenna module. At the bottom of the cassette there are 2 induction contacts 11, 12 for making an induction connection with corresponding induction contacts 117, 12' of the antenna module. The antenna module is essentially a printed circuit board having a conductive pattern 14 arranged thereon providing the antenna function for mobile communication and Bluetooth communication. When the antenna module is arranged with the induction contacts 117, 12' at the location of the induction contacts 11, 12 of the underside of the cassette, it can be covered by means of cover unit 3 and can be attached by means of screws through the screw eyes 19, 197. The inductive contacts provide a substantially non-contact antenna coupling between the transceiver and the antenna connection means extending between the transceiver and the inductive contacts. As a result, the antenna module is located outside the cassette and a good radio connection can therefore be achieved. Preferably, the antenna module is located in the opening of the down tube at the wall thickness of the down tube. Alternatively, the antenna module can be arranged even outside the volume of the down tube by means of a spacer. In that case, the printing unit 3 will protrude from the top tube or the underside thereof. Alternatively, the antenna module 2 (Fig. 3) is arranged to be arranged within the material of a handle 22 of a bicycle handlebar. To this end, a wire connection 21 is provided which extends from the antenna module 2, through the end of the handlebar arc through the handlebar arc, then through the stem to the head tube and from the head tube inwards into the top tube where the cassette 6 is located. There, a connection is made with the sender-receiver. Alternatively, there is provided the option of providing a wire connection from the cassette in the top tube to the saddle (not shown) wherein the antenna module is arranged in or on the saddle. In the foregoing, the present invention has been described with reference to some preferred embodiments. Various aspects of different embodiments are deemed to be described in conjunction with one another with all combinations considered to be within the scope of the invention upon reading by a person skilled in the art based on this document being read by a person skilled in the art.
